Head north from Las Gaviotas, in about 7.5 miles you will see a blue and white sign for Castillo’s del Mar on the ocean side, make the next u-turn and park in Castillo del Mar’s parking lot. A land mark to look out for before Sunio Beach Club is the roadside pink and purple hotel (hard to miss!), if you enter into town you have gone too far. The parking lot will charge a fee which you can use towards food/beverages at Sunio Beach Club.

Get ready to stand in line, these famous tacos have been bringing in the crowds since 1984 and are well worth the wait! Yaqui’s mesquite grilled carne asada tacos come on flour tortillas, with melted cheese, guacamole, salsa, and beans and are a must try when visiting Baja. Insider tip: if you like to enjoy a cold beer with your tacos, you can bring one over from the liquor store across the street.
